Understanding how Make connects apps
A connection is the bridge that allows Make to communicate with applications like Anthropic Claude and Figma. Before you can automate tasks between these apps, you need to establish secure connections so they can share information. Think of it as creating a pathway that lets data flow smoothly between different services—once set up, your automations can work seamlessly.

Set up your Figma app for connection
Figma requires you to create an app in their developers portal before connecting. Go to figma.com/developers/apps and click 'Create' to make a new app. Give it a name and select your team or organization. During setup, you may need to enter this callback address: https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/figma. After creating the app, Figma will show you a 'Client ID' and 'Client secret'—copy both and save them securely.
Connect Figma in Make
Return to Make and add the Figma module to your scenario, then click 'Create a connection'. You can name your connection for reference later. Enter the Client ID and Client secret you copied from Figma into the appropriate fields. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the authentication process, then click 'Save'.
