Think of it like introducing two friends so they can work together—Make needs your permission to access and use the other applications on your behalf, ensuring your data stays safe while the automation runs smoothly.
Get your access credentials from the application
Log into the application you want to connect (either Anthropic Claude or Google Cloud Platform for Looker Studio) and navigate to the security or API section. For Anthropic Claude, create an API key by clicking the key icon and selecting '+ Create Key'. For Looker Studio, go to 'APIs & Services' then 'Credentials' and create an OAuth client ID, making sure to use the callback URL: https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/google-data-studio when prompted.
Save your credentials securely
After generating your credentials, copy them immediately and store them somewhere safe like a password manager. For Anthropic Claude, you'll copy one API key, while for Looker Studio, you'll need to save both the Client ID and Client Secret. This is crucial because you won't be able to see these credentials again once you close the window, and anyone who has them can access your account through Make.
Add the module and start the connection in Make
Log into your Make account and add either the Anthropic Claude or Looker Studio module to your automation workflow. When you add the module, click the 'Create a connection' button that appears.
