How to setup HeyGen and Google Drive in 5 easy steps
Add your app module in Make
Log in to your Make account and add the module for the app you want to connect, such as Google Drive or HeyGen, to your automation scenario. This is the starting point for building a connection between Make and your chosen application. Once you've added the module, you'll see a button to create a new connection. Click this button to begin the setup process that will allow Make to communicate with your external app.
Give your connection a name
When the connection window opens, you'll have the option to name your connection. While this is optional, choosing a descriptive name helps you identify this specific connection later, especially if you work with multiple apps. A clear name makes it easier to manage your connections and keep track of which connection belongs to which app or account.
Connect Google Drive with sign-in
For Google Drive, the connection process is straightforward. After clicking 'Create a connection,' you'll see a 'Sign in with Google' button that lets you authorize Make through your existing Google account. Click the button and a window will open asking you to authenticate and grant permissions. Review the permissions Make needs to access your Google Drive, then click to grant access and complete the connection.
Get your HeyGen API key
To connect HeyGen, you'll need an API key from your HeyGen account. Log in to HeyGen, click on your profile name in the upper left corner, select Settings, then navigate to 'Subscriptions & API' and click 'HeyGen API.' Copy the API Token that appears and keep it safe. You'll need to paste this key into Make to establish the connection between the two platforms.
Enter your API key to complete connection
Return to the Make connection window and locate the 'API Key' field. Paste the API token you copied from HeyGen into this field, making sure it's entered correctly. Click the Save button to finalize the connection. Make will confirm that the connection is active, and you can now use HeyGen in your automation scenarios.
