How to setup Leonardo.Ai and WordPress in 5 easy steps
Subscribe to Leonardo.Ai API plan and get your API key
Start by logging into your Leonardo.Ai account and subscribing to an API plan, which gives you access to connect with Make. Once subscribed, go to the API Access page and create a new key - this will generate a unique code that acts like a secure password. Copy this API key and save it somewhere safe, as you'll need it to establish the connection in Make.
Connect Leonardo.Ai to Make
Log in to Make and add a Leonardo.Ai module to your automation workflow. When prompted, click to create a new connection and paste the API key you copied from Leonardo.Ai into the designated field. You can give your connection a memorable name to identify it quickly, then click Save to complete the setup.
Install the Make Connector plugin in WordPress
To enable communication between WordPress and Make, you need to install the Make Connector plugin on your WordPress site. Find this plugin in your WordPress admin area under Plugins, or download it from the WordPress plugin page. After installation, activate the plugin to create the bridge that allows Make to work with your WordPress site.
Get your WordPress API credentials
After activating the Make Connector plugin, look for the new Make menu in your WordPress sidebar and click it to access the settings. Click the Reveal button to display your unique API key and copy it for safekeeping. You'll also need your WordPress REST API URL, which is simply your website address followed by '/wp-/' - for example, 'https://mywebsite.com/wp-/'.
Connect WordPress to Make
In Make, add a WordPress module to your scenario and click to create a new connection. Enter your WordPress REST API URL in the first field and paste your WordPress API key in the second field. Click Save to establish the connection, and Make will verify that it can communicate with your WordPress site successfully.
