How to setup Mistral AI and WordPress in 5 easy steps
Get your Mistral AI API key
Before you can connect Mistral AI to Make, you'll need an API key from your Mistral AI account. Simply log into Mistral AI, go to the API Keys section under Workspace in the sidebar, and create a new key by giving it a name. Copy this key and keep it handy—you'll need it to set up the connection in Make.
Connect Mistral AI to Make
Once you have your API key, log into Make and add a Mistral AI module to your automation. When prompted, click to create a connection and paste in the API key you copied earlier. You can give your connection a custom name to help identify it later, then save it to start using Mistral AI in your automations.
Install the Make Connector plugin in WordPress
To link WordPress with Make, you'll need to install a plugin called Make Connector. Go to your WordPress admin area, navigate to Plugins, and search for Make Connector. Install and activate the plugin, and you'll see a new Make option appear in your WordPress menu where you can manage the connection settings.
Get your WordPress API key and connect to Make
After installing the Make Connector plugin, find your WordPress API key by clicking on the Make Connector option in your WordPress sidebar and revealing the key in the General Settings. Copy this key, then go to Make and add a WordPress module to your scenario. Create a connection by entering your WordPress site's API address (like https://your-site.com/wp-/) and pasting in your API key.
Fix WordPress settings if connection fails
If you get an error when connecting WordPress to Make, your permalink settings might need adjustment. In WordPress, go to Settings and then Permalinks, and change the setting from Plain to Post name.
