Build your Vapi and Telegram Bot integrations.
Connect Telegram Bot and Vapi through Make's intuitive integration platform to automate voice AI workflows. When Telegram Bot receives a call or completes a conversation, it functions as a trigger that initiates automated workflows, which then execute actions in Vapi such as sending messages, notifications, or updates to specific users or channels. Make's visual workflow builder enables you to design custom automation scenarios where Telegram Bot triggers activate Vapi actions, transforming how your team handles voice communications and messaging workflows. From automating appointment confirmations and customer support responses to creating notification systems, you can build sophisticated workflows where Telegram Bot's conversational AI events trigger instant Vapi messaging actions without writing a single line of code.

How to setup Vapi and Telegram Bot in 5 easy steps
Create your Telegram Bot and get your token
Visit the Telegram BotFather at https://telegram.me/BotFather and type /newbot to create a new bot. Follow the prompts to name your bot, and BotFather will provide you with a unique token. Copy this token and save it securely, as you'll need it to connect your Telegram bot to Make.
Get your Vapi API key
Log into your Vapi account and navigate to the left sidebar. Click on 'Build' and then select 'Vapi API Keys' to access your credentials. Copy the 'Private Key' value and store it safely - if you don't see a key listed, click 'Add Key' to generate one first.
Add and connect your Telegram Bot module in Make
Open your Make scenario and add a Telegram Bot module to your workflow. Click 'Create a connection' when prompted, then paste the token you received from BotFather into the 'Token' field. You can optionally name this connection for identification, then click 'Save' to establish the connection.
Add and connect your Vapi module in Make
Add a Vapi module to your Make scenario and click 'Create a connection' when it appears. In the connection window, paste the private key you copied from your Vapi account into the 'API Key' field. Give your connection a name if you'd like, then click 'Save' to complete the setup.
Your apps are now connected and ready
With both Telegram and Vapi modules successfully connected in your Make scenario, the two applications can now work together. You can now configure how these apps interact in your automation workflow without needing to reconnect them each time.
