How to setup WordPress and Mistral AI in 5 easy steps
Install the Make Connector Plugin in WordPress
Before you can connect WordPress to Make, you need to add a plugin to your WordPress site called the Make Connector. Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the plugins section, search for "Make Connector," and install it. Once installed, activate the plugin so it can act as a secure bridge between Make and your WordPress website, allowing them to communicate smoothly.
Get your WordPress API key
After activating the Make Connector plugin, you'll find a new "Make" menu item in your WordPress dashboard. Click on it and look for the General Settings section where you'll see an API Key with a reveal button. Click the button to display your unique API key, then copy and save it somewhere safe. This key works like a password that allows Make to securely access and interact with your WordPress site.
Get your Mistral AI API key
To connect Mistral AI with Make, you'll need an API key from your Mistral AI account. Log into Mistral AI and find the API Keys option in your workspace menu. Create a new key by giving it a name and clicking the create button, then copy the generated key and store it securely. This key enables Make to use Mistral AI's intelligent features within your automated workflows.
Connect WordPress to Make
In your Make account, add a WordPress module to your automation scenario and click the create connection button. Give your connection a name if you'd like, then enter your WordPress website's API address in the format "https://your-site.com/wp-/" and paste in the API key you copied earlier from WordPress. Click save to establish the connection, and Make will now be able to work with your WordPress site to automate tasks.
Connect Mistral AI to Make
Add a Mistral AI module to your Make scenario and click the create connection button when prompted. You can optionally name your connection for identification later, then paste the API key you obtained from your Mistral AI account into the API Key field. Save the connection, and Make will now be able to use Mistral AI's artificial intelligence capabilities in your automated workflows, allowing you to create powerful automations between both applications.
