Build your Zoho CRM and Vapi integrations.
Connect Vapi and Zoho CRM through Make's integration platform to automate your workflows. When specific events occur in Vapi—such as a new lead being created, a contact being updated, or a deal reaching a particular stage—these triggers automatically initiate actions in Zoho CRM. The integration allows you to trigger voice calls based on CRM events, enabling AI-driven voice conversations to be automatically launched in response to customer activities tracked in Vapi. This powerful combination ensures that when Vapi detects relevant customer behavior or record changes, Zoho CRM immediately executes the corresponding voice interaction, whether it's qualifying leads through voice interactions, scheduling appointments, or gathering customer feedback.

How to setup Zoho CRM and Vapi in 5 easy steps
Get your Vapi API key
Before you can connect Vapi to Make, you'll need to obtain your API key from Vapi. Log into your Vapi account, go to the Build section in the sidebar, and select Vapi API Keys. Copy your Private Key and keep it handy—this acts like a secure password that allows Make to communicate with your Vapi account.
Add Vapi to your Make scenario
In your Make account, add a Vapi module to your automation workflow. When you add the module, you'll see a button to create a connection—click it to begin linking Vapi to Make. You'll enter the API key you copied earlier into the connection form, give your connection an optional name to help you remember it, then save to establish the link.
Add Zoho CRM to your scenario
Just like with Vapi, you'll need to add a Zoho CRM module to your Make scenario. Click the create connection button when prompted, and you'll be guided through the process of linking your Zoho CRM account. It's best to use only one connection per Zoho CRM account to keep things organized and avoid complications.
Authenticate your Zoho CRM connection
After adding Zoho CRM, Make will ask you to authenticate your account, which means confirming that you want to give Make permission to access your Zoho CRM data. Follow the prompts that appear on your screen, which may include logging into Zoho CRM and approving the connection request. You can give your connection a custom name to help you identify it later.
