This automation helps you detect broken backlinks and turn them into clear action steps for your team. On each run, the workflow uses DataForSEO’s Backlinks API to retrieve backlinks that are currently marked as broken for your selected domain or URL. The API also returns essential data for each broken backlink, including the referring page URL, referring domain, target page URL, anchor text, Domain Rank (authority metric), spam score, and dofollow/nofollow status. This provides the context needed to evaluate impact and prioritize recovery efforts. All detected broken backlinks are automatically added to a structured Google Sheets report, where you can review link issues. Lastly, the workflow automatically creates an Asana task when new broken backlinks are found, making it easy for your team or outreach specialist to take quick action.
