About
This automation connects Lexware Office with KlickTipp to synchronize invoice data and saves them to Dropbox with a fitting share link to trigger automated reminder campaigns.
When a new invoice is created in Lexware Office, the scenario retrieves the full invoice details and checks whether the invoice status is open. It then fetches the related customer contact and uploads the invoice to Dropbox to create a share link for the invoice recipient. Then it searches for the contact in KlickTipp using the business email address. If the contact already exists, the record is updated. If the contact does not exist, it is automatically created and subscribed via the selected opt-in process.
The automation stores the invoice voucher URL and the payment due date in dedicated custom fields inside KlickTipp. After that, the tag “Lexware | Open Invoice” is assigned to the contact.
This setup allows you to trigger automated email campaigns in KlickTipp based on financial events. For example, you can start a friendly payment reminder sequence when the Open Invoice tag is added and stop it once the invoice is paid.
The template uses the custom fields “Lexware | Beleg URL” and “Lexware | Zahlungsziel” and requires the tag “Lexware | Open Invoice” to be available in your KlickTipp account.
This solution is ideal for businesses that want to connect accounting processes with automated marketing workflows and eliminate manual tag management.

FAQ
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
How it works
