About
Turn industry news into a ready-to-send newsletter, automatically.
Every week, this scenario uses Bright Data's SERP API to pull the freshest news on any topic you choose, then has AI summarize the top 5 stories into a clean, branded HTML email. You receive the finished draft in your inbox, ready to paste into Beehiiv, ConvertKit, Substack, or any newsletter platform you use.
No more manual curation. No more copy-pasting from ten browser tabs. Set your industry keyword once, and your newsletter writes itself.
HOW IT WORKS
- Schedule trigger fires on your chosen day and time
- Bright Data scrapes Google News results for your topic, returned as clean structured data (no HTML parsing, no blocked requests)
- AI reads the stories and writes concise, engaging summaries with source links
- The formatted HTML newsletter lands in your inbox, ready to send
WHAT YOU NEED
- A Bright Data account with a SERP API zone
- An AI connection (Claude or OpenAI)
- A Gmail connection
SETUP The guided setup walks you through the few fields to personalize: your news topic, your Bright Data zone name, and your recipient email. Takes about two minutes.
Perfect for newsletter creators, content marketers, agencies, and anyone who wants to stay on top of their industry without the manual work.

FAQ
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
How it works
Traditional no-code iPaaS platforms are linear and non-intuitive. Make allows you to visually create, build, and automate without limits.
