What is the Make Academic Alliance?

The Academic Alliance is a free program designed to help university and high school teachers give their students hands-on experience and practical no-code/low-code automation skills that match market needs. Institutions that are members get free access to the Make Core plan for their students and the teacher for six months.

How it works

Fill out this application form.

We’ll review the details and, if everything looks good, you’ll get an email confirming your program membership and the details of your premium access to Make (teacher's coupon code and a promo link for your students). We’re excited to hear from you!

Step 2

Activate free access

Activate your and your students’ free access to Make. Redeem your teacher's coupon code in your Make account and ask your students to sign up through the promo link you received in the confirmation email.

Step 3

Learn or get inspired

Check our Resource hub in your Make account for available resources, tutorials, and inspiration.

Step 4

Let your students build

Integrate automation into your coursework. Leverage the Make Academy e-learning in the classroom or just let your students build a solution for a specific use case.

Universities and colleges (both public and private) and their faculty are eligible to apply, as well as high school teachers teaching 18+ year old students. Digital Education Organizations: If you represent an upskilling institution or bootcamp, please explore our Digital Education Program instead. Individual Instructors: Individual content providers are not eligible. Students: Students cannot apply directly. However, if you want free premium access for your coursework, please invite your professor or lecturer to apply!

No. The program is completely free and provides no-obligation access to the Make platform for teaching and learning purposes.

To ensure the quality of the program, applications may be declined if they are incomplete or do not meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

Similarly, support extensions are not automatic. We review our partnerships periodically; if engagement or performance is deemed unsatisfactory, we reserve the right to decline a renewal.

As a Make Academic Alliance Member: You receive an academic promo link to give students free premium access. This is not an affiliate link and generates no commission.

As an Affiliate: Some educators who create public content (e.g., YouTube tutorials) also join our Affiliate Program. However, this activity must remain separate from your academic teaching.
