Social Media Internship

Madrid, Spain

Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.

We're looking for an intern to join our Social Media team, to engage with our active and growing global community. You’re curious, thoughtful, and comfortable online. You write clearly and have a good sense of what makes people stop scrolling. You’re familiar with platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok - even if you haven’t worked on them professionally yet. You’re not afraid to ask questions, suggest ideas, or jump into a task you’ve never done before. Most of all, you’re detail-oriented.

You can shift between:

  • Writing short, sharp captions and replies.
  • Keeping up with the pace of fast-moving conversations and longer-term projects.
  • Being creative (like brainstorming video ideas) and being methodical (like logging responses and assets).
  • Following instructions when needed, but also suggesting smarter or simpler ways to get things done.

What you’ll do:

Social media listening:

  • Monitor social media platforms for mentions, comments, and discussions related to Make.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to comments and messages across our social media channels.
  • Engage with our audience in a friendly and informative manner, reflecting Make’s brand voice.

Community management:

  • Foster engagement with our customers and partners on social media by actively participating in discussions, replying to comments, and answering questions.
  • Monitor feedback and conversations to gather insights for future social strategies and community improvements.

Video creation and editing:

  • Assist with the creation and editing of social media video content.
  • Ensure videos align with current trends and best practices for engagement across different platforms.

Social platform administration:

  • Assist with administration of internal communication using Monday.com.
  • Follow up with users to encourage active participation and address any issues
  • or concerns.

Event speaker cards management:

  • Support the team in managing social speaker cards for Waves ’25 and other events that the team participates in.

Event photo curation and editing:

  • Curate and edit photos from company events and activities for use on social media.
  • Maintain an organized library of event photos for future reference and promotional purposes.

The Social Media Intern may also be required to assist with other projects, duties and responsibilities within the Marketing team from time to time.

What we offer:

  • 🌎 Multinational team with 42 nationalities creating the future of automation
  • 🍎 Notebook/Macbook and 34’’ curved monitor
  • 🍍 Snack bar, coffee, tea, fruit and vegetable, and sweets all day - every day - available for everyone
  • ⏰ Flexible working hours
