How to setup Canva and ElevenLabs in 5 easy steps
Add your app module in Make
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to work. Find the app you need (like Canva or ElevenLabs) and add its module to your scenario. You'll see a button to create a new connection—click it to get started with linking your app to Make.
Name your connection
When the connection window appears, you can give your connection a name that helps you remember what it's for. While this is optional, it's helpful when you have multiple connections to keep track of. Choose something clear like 'My Canva Connection' so you can identify it later.
Get your API key from the app
For apps like ElevenLabs, you'll need to grab an API key from your account. Log into your ElevenLabs account and click on your profile icon in the top-right corner to access your settings. Look for the API key section in your profile—you might need to click an eye icon to reveal the full key, then copy it carefully.
Enter your credentials in Make
Go back to the Make connection window and paste your API key into the designated field. Make sure you copy the entire key without any extra spaces. For apps like Canva that use simpler authentication, you'll just need to log in and confirm that Make can access your account when prompted.
Save and verify your connection
