How to setup Canva and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to Make
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to work. Click to add either a Canva or Perplexity AI module to your workflow. When the module appears, you'll see an option to create a new connection that will allow Make to communicate with your chosen application.
Start creating your connection
Look for the 'Create a connection' button in your module and click it to begin the setup process. A dialog box will open where you'll configure how Make connects to your application. This establishes the communication bridge between the two platforms so they can share information and work together automatically.
Get your API key from the app
For apps like Perplexity AI, you'll need an API key, which acts like a special password. Log into your app account and navigate to the API or Settings section to find where API keys are managed. Follow the on-screen prompts to generate a new API key, then copy it immediately and keep it somewhere safe since you'll need it in the next step.
Enter your API key in Make
Return to the connection dialog in Make where you'll find an 'API Key' field. Paste the API key you copied from your application into this field. This key allows Make to securely access your app account and perform automated actions on your behalf without requiring you to log in manually each time.
