How to setup Canvas LMS and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Get your Canvas LMS access token
Before connecting Canvas LMS to Make, you need an access token from your Canvas account. Log into Canvas LMS, click your name in the top right corner, select Settings, scroll to Approved Integrations, and generate a new API token. Copy this token carefully as it's your key to connecting the two platforms.
Get your Perplexity AI API key
To connect Perplexity AI with Make, you'll need an API key from your Perplexity account. Log into Perplexity AI, click the Settings icon next to your username, select API from the sidebar, and create a new API key. Copy this key immediately and store it safely, as you'll need it to complete your connection in Make.
Add Canvas LMS to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Canvas LMS. Search for the Canvas LMS module and add it to your workflow. Click the Create a connection button to begin linking your Canvas account with Make.
Add Perplexity AI to your Make scenario
In your Make scenario, add the Perplexity AI module by searching for it in the available apps list. Once you've added the module to your workflow, click the Create a connection button to start the setup process that will link Perplexity AI with Make.
Complete your connections in Make
When prompted, paste your Canvas LMS API token and Perplexity AI API key into their respective connection fields in Make. You can optionally give each connection a descriptive name to help identify them later. Click Save to establish the connections, and your apps are now ready to work together in your automated workflows.
