How to setup ElevenLabs and WhatsApp Business Cloud in 5 easy steps
Get your ElevenLabs API Key
Sign in to your ElevenLabs account and click on your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select 'Profile' from the menu. Look for the 'API Key' field and click the eye icon next to it to reveal your unique key. Copy this key and save it somewhere safe like a password manager. This key acts as a secure password that allows Make to connect with your ElevenLabs account and access its features.
Add an ElevenLabs module in Make
Log in to Make and open the scenario where you want to use ElevenLabs. Select an ElevenLabs module from the available apps and add it to your workflow. When the module appears, click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking Make with your ElevenLabs account. You can optionally give your connection a descriptive name to help you identify it later.
Complete your ElevenLabs connection
In the connection setup window, find the 'API Key' field and paste the key you copied from your ElevenLabs account. Make sure to paste the entire key exactly as it appears, without any extra spaces. Click 'Save' to finalize the connection. Make will verify the key and establish a secure link with ElevenLabs, allowing you to use voice generation and audio features in your automated workflows.
Add a WhatsApp Business Cloud module in Make
In your Make scenario, add a WhatsApp Business Cloud module to your workflow. Click 'Create a connection' when prompted to begin the setup process. In the connection setup window, select 'WhatsApp Business Cloud' as your connection type. You can also give your connection a name to help organize multiple connections if needed.
Connect through Facebook and add your phone number
Click 'Save' and you'll be redirected to log in with your Facebook account, which WhatsApp Business Cloud uses for authentication. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your business information and set up your WhatsApp Business profile. You'll be asked to add and verify a phone number for your WhatsApp Business account. Follow the instructions to complete this step. If you see a 'Resource not found' error, simply retry the connection and select your existing accounts from the list.
