How to setup Google Gemini AI and Email in 5 easy steps

Log into your Make account and add an Email module to your automation scenario. Select 'Google Restricted' as your connection type, give your connection a memorable name, and click Save. You'll then authenticate by logging in with your email credentials and confirming that Make can access your email account.
Set up a Google Cloud Platform project
Before connecting Google Gemini AI, you need to create a project in Google Cloud Platform. Log in with your Google credentials, click 'Create or select a project', then 'New project', and enter a name for your project. After clicking Create, verify that your new project is selected in the top menu dropdown.
Access Google AI Studio
Once your Google Cloud Platform project is ready, navigate to Google AI Studio and log in with your Google account. This is the platform where you'll generate the special access key that allows Make to communicate with Google Gemini AI.
Generate your API key
In Google AI Studio, click 'Get API key' and then 'Create API key'. Select your Google Cloud project from the list and click 'Create API key in existing project'. Copy the API key that appears and store it in a safe place, as you'll need this key to complete your connection in Make.
