How to setup Google Analytics 4 and OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) in 5 easy steps
Get your Property ID from Google Analytics
Open your Google Analytics 4 account and go to the Admin section in the left sidebar. Click on Property details and you'll find your Property ID in the upper-right corner with a copy button next to it. Click to copy this ID as you'll need it to connect Make to your analytics account.
Add a Google Analytics module in Make
Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Google Analytics data. Add a Google Analytics 4 module to your workflow and click the 'Create a connection' button. This opens a form where you'll set up the link between Make and your analytics account.
Name and configure your connection
Give your connection a descriptive name like 'My GA4 Account' so you can easily identify it later, especially if you manage multiple connections. Then paste the Property ID you copied earlier into the Property ID field. This tells Make exactly which analytics account to connect to.
Authorize Make to access your Google account
After saving your connection settings, a Google login window will appear. Sign in with the same Google account that has access to your Analytics property. Google will show you what data Make can access—review these permissions and click to confirm and grant access.
Verify and start using your connection
Once you've granted permission, you'll return to Make where your new connection will appear as active and ready to use. You can now add Google Analytics modules to your scenarios to pull reports, track events, and automate your analytics data without needing to set up the connection again.
