How to setup Google Docs and OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open your scenario. Click the plus icon to add a new module, then search for and select Google Docs or OpenAI GPT-3 from the app list. This is your starting point for building an automation that connects these two applications together.
Create a connection between Make and your app
After adding your module, you'll see a prompt to create a connection. Click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking Make with your chosen application. You can give your connection a descriptive name to help you stay organized, especially if you'll be creating multiple connections later.
Sign in and authenticate your account
Click the sign-in button for your chosen application (Google or OpenAI). A new window will open where you can log into your account. Make sure you're using the account that has access to the documents or features you want to use in your automation.
Grant Make permission to access your account
Your application will ask you to confirm that you want to allow Make to access your account. Review the permissions being requested and click to grant access. These permissions are necessary for Make to read and work with your data as part of the automation you're creating.
Confirm and configure your connected module
Once you grant permissions, you'll be redirected back to Make with a confirmation that your connection was successful. Your module is now connected and ready to use. You can configure the specific settings for what you want the module to do, then test it to make sure everything works before activating your scenario.
