How to setup Microsoft 365 Email (Outlook) and GPT Chatbot in 5 easy steps
Get your GPT Chatbot API key
Log into your GPT Chatbot account and navigate to the Account menu at the top of the screen. Find the API Keys section and click 'Generate new key'. Give it a descriptive name like 'Make Integration', then copy the generated key and store it safely—you'll need this to connect your chatbot to Make.
Connect GPT Chatbot to Make
Open your Make scenario and add the GPT Chatbot module by searching for it. Click 'Create a connection' when the module appears. Paste the API key you copied earlier into the authentication field and follow the prompts to complete the connection setup.
Add Microsoft 365 Email to your scenario
In the same Make scenario, search for and add the Microsoft 365 Email module to your workflow. Once the module is inserted, click the 'Create a connection' button to begin linking your Microsoft email account to Make.
Name your email connection
When the connection window opens, optionally enter a descriptive name in the Connection name field, such as 'My Work Email' or 'Outlook Connection'. This helps you identify the connection later if you set up multiple email accounts in Make.
Authorize Make to access your email
Click the Save button and you'll be prompted to log into your Microsoft account. Follow the authentication steps and grant Make permission to access your email. Once you confirm the access request, your Microsoft 365 Email will be connected and ready to use in your automation scenarios.
