How to setup Microsoft Teams and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to Make
Log into your Make account and open your scenario. Search for either Microsoft Teams or Perplexity AI in the module list and add it to your workspace. When you see the connection option appear, click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking your app to Make.
Name your connection for quick identification
When the connection window opens, you'll have the option to give your connection a custom name. While this step is optional, choosing a descriptive name helps you stay organized, especially if you plan to manage multiple connections. Pick a name that reminds you which account or project this connection is for.
Get your Perplexity AI API key
For Perplexity AI connections, you'll need an API key from your account. Log into Perplexity AI, click the Settings icon, navigate to the API section, and create a new API key. Copy this key carefully as you'll need to paste it into Make. Think of this key as a secure password that lets Make access your Perplexity AI account.
Enter your credentials and save
Paste your Perplexity AI API key into the designated field in Make, making sure there are no extra spaces. For Microsoft Teams, you'll be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page where you'll enter your business account credentials. After entering your information, click 'Save' to establish the connection.
Start building your automation
Once your connection is verified and saved, it's ready to use in your scenario. You can now add more modules from either app without needing to reconnect each time.
