Get your AppSheet connection credentials

To connect AppSheet with Make, you first need to gather two important pieces of information from your AppSheet account: your Application Access Key and your App ID. Log into AppSheet, open your app editor, navigate to the Manage tab, and click on Integrations. Here you'll find both credentials displayed. Copy and save them in a safe place like a notepad, as you'll need these to complete the connection in Make. Think of these credentials as special passwords that allow Make to securely communicate with your AppSheet application.

Open your Make automation scenario

Switch to your Make account and either create a new scenario or open an existing one where you want to use AppSheet. A scenario in Make is your automation workflow where you define what actions should happen automatically. Make uses a visual interface that makes it easier to see all the steps in your automation laid out clearly, so you can understand exactly what's happening at each stage.

Add AppSheet to your workflow

Inside your Make scenario, look for the option to add a new module and search for AppSheet. Modules in Make are like building blocks that represent different apps and actions you want to include in your automation. When you find AppSheet in the list, click on it to add it to your scenario. This tells Make that you want AppSheet to be part of your automated workflow.

Start creating the connection

After adding the AppSheet module to your scenario, you'll see a button or prompt asking you to create a connection. Click on this option to begin linking your Make account with your AppSheet account. This step opens a form where you'll enter the credentials you copied earlier, establishing a secure bridge between the two platforms so they can share information.

Enter your credentials and save

In the connection form, paste the Application Access Key and App ID you copied from AppSheet into the appropriate fields. You can also give your connection a memorable name, like 'My AppSheet Connection,' to help you identify it later if you create multiple connections. Once you've entered everything correctly and saved, Make and AppSheet will be connected and ready to work together in your automation scenarios.
