How to setup OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) and Google Meet in 5 easy steps
Add the Google Meet module to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to automate tasks. Find the Google Meet module and add it to your workspace. This module enables you to automatically create and manage Google Meet meetings based on triggers from other applications in your automation workflow.
Create a new connection to Google Meet
Once you've added the Google Meet module, click on the 'Create a connection' button that appears. This connection is the bridge that allows Make to securely access your Google Meet account and perform automated actions on your behalf, such as scheduling meetings or sending invitations.
Give your connection a recognizable name
You'll have the option to name your connection in the 'Connection name' field. While optional, choosing a descriptive name like 'My Google Meet Connection' is helpful if you plan to work with multiple connections. A clear name makes it easier to identify and manage your connections later.
Sign in with your Google account
Click the 'Sign in with Google' button and you'll be taken to Google's login page. Select the Google account that has access to the calendars and meetings you want to automate. Make sure to choose the correct account that contains the information you need for your automation.
Grant Make access to your Google Meet account
Google will display the permissions that Make needs to work with your Google Meet account. Review what Make will be able to do, such as creating meetings and accessing your calendar. Once you're comfortable with these permissions, click 'Allow' to complete the connection and start automating your Google Meet tasks.
