Generate your API connection keys
Navigate to the Settings section of your new app and find the API Keys area. In the Auth section, click 'Add' under Client Keys to create a new key pair, give it a descriptive name, and save it. These keys work like special passwords that allow Make and GoHighLevel to connect safely and securely.
Save your connection credentials
After generating your keys, you'll see a Client ID and Client Key displayed on your screen. Copy both of these values immediately and store them in a safe place, as you'll need them to complete the connection in Make. Treat these credentials like passwords and keep them secure to protect your data.
Add GoHighLevel to your Make scenario
Log into Make and add a GoHighLevel module to your automation workflow. Click the 'Create a connection' button when prompted, then select 'GoHighLevel Location OAuth 2.0' as your connection type. You can give your connection a custom name to help you identify it later, especially if you manage multiple connections.
Complete the connection setup
Paste the Client ID and Client Secret values you saved earlier into the corresponding fields in Make's connection form. Click 'Save' to finalize the setup and authenticate your account when prompted. Once completed, your GoHighLevel and Make accounts are connected, and you can start building automations that improve your sales and marketing workflows.
