How to setup OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) and Tally in 5 easy steps
Add Tally to your Make scenario
Log in to your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Tally. Find and add a Tally module from the list of available apps. This module acts as a bridge that lets Make automatically collect responses from your Tally forms and use them in your automation.
Select your connection method
Make gives you two ways to connect with Tally: OAuth or API Key. OAuth lets you connect by logging into your Tally account directly, while the API Key method uses a special code you generate in Tally. Choose whichever method feels more comfortable for you.
Connect using OAuth
If you choose OAuth, click 'Create a connection' in your Tally module and select 'Tally OAuth' as the connection type. After clicking 'Save,' you'll be asked to log in to your Tally account and grant Make permission to access your form data. This secure process protects your account while allowing Make to retrieve your responses.
Connect using an API key
For the API Key method, go to your Tally account Settings and find 'API keys.' Create a new API key with a name you'll remember, then copy the key immediately and store it safely. Back in Make, click 'Create a connection,' select 'Tally Personal API Key,' paste your copied key, and click 'Save' to complete the connection.
