Connect PDF Generator API and Perplexity AI integrations

Understand what a connection does

A connection in Make is like a secure bridge between two applications that allows them to work together. When you create a connection, you're giving Make permission to access features from external apps like PDF Generator API or Perplexity AI on your behalf, so they can communicate and share information automatically.

Find your API keys from each application

To connect your apps, you'll need special access codes called API keys from each service. For PDF Generator API, log into your account and go to Account Settings to find your API Key and API Secret. For Perplexity AI, click the Settings icon, select API from the sidebar, then go to the API Keys tab and click Create Key to generate your access code.

Keep your API keys safe and ready

Once you locate your API keys, copy them carefully and store them somewhere secure temporarily. These keys work like passwords that prove your identity and allow Make to connect with your accounts. You'll need to paste these exact codes into Make in the next step, so make sure you have them readily available without any extra spaces or characters.

Add your app module and start the connection

Log into your Make account and open the workflow where you want to use your app. Add the PDF Generator API or Perplexity AI module to your scenario, then click the Create a Connection button. When the connection window opens, you can give your connection a memorable name to help you identify it later, then paste your API credentials into the corresponding fields exactly as they appear.

Save and begin using your connected apps

After entering your credentials correctly, click the Save button to establish the connection. Make will check that everything is working properly and confirm the connection is successful. Once connected, you can start using your app's features in your workflows, and the connection will remain active for all future scenarios without needing to reconnect each time.
