Log into your Perplexity AI account and click the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section from the sidebar, create a new API group by filling in the required fields, and then go to the API Keys tab to generate your unique key by clicking the Create Key button.
Save your API key in a safe place
Once your API key appears on the screen, copy it immediately and store it somewhere secure like a password manager or notes app. You'll need this key in the next steps to connect Perplexity AI with Make, and it won't be shown again after you leave this page.
Add Perplexity AI to your Make workflow
Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. Add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow, which will automatically prompt you to set up a connection between the two platforms.
Create the connection in Make
When the connection dialog appears, click the Create a Connection button. You can optionally give your connection a descriptive name in the Connection Name field to help you identify it later, especially if you plan to work with multiple connections.
Complete the connection setup
