How to setup Perplexity AI and Webhooks in 5 easy steps
Access your API settings in Perplexity AI
Log into your Perplexity AI account and click on the Settings icon next to your username. From the menu that appears, select the API option to access the area where you can manage your connections. This is where you'll set up the bridge between Perplexity AI and Make.
Set up your API access
Create a new API group by filling in the required information and clicking Save. You'll also need to enter your payment details, which will be stored for future usage but won't charge your card immediately. This step ensures your API access is properly configured.
Generate your connection key
Navigate to the API Keys section and click the Create Key button to generate a new API key. This unique key acts like a secure password that allows Make to communicate with your Perplexity AI account. Copy this key and store it somewhere safe, as you'll need it in the next steps.
Add Perplexity AI to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. Add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow, then click the Create a connection button. You can optionally give your connection a memorable name to help you identify it later.
Complete the connection
Paste the API key you copied from Perplexity AI into the API Key field in Make and click Save. Your connection is now established, and you can start using Perplexity AI's features within your Make automation scenarios. The two platforms can now work together.
