How to setup Perplexity AI and Microsoft Teams in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to start building
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to create your automation. Add either Microsoft Teams or Perplexity AI as your first module to the workspace. This module is the starting point for connecting your applications and building your automated workflow.
Click the connection button to begin setup
Once your module is added to the scenario, locate and click the 'Create a connection' button. This opens a setup window that will guide you through linking Make to your chosen application, allowing the platform to communicate with your external apps securely.
Get your API key from Perplexity AI
For Perplexity AI connections, log into your account and click the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section in the sidebar, go to the API Keys tab, and click 'Create Key' to generate your unique access key. Copy this key immediately as you'll need it in the next step to establish the connection.
Enter your credentials and authenticate
Paste your Perplexity AI API key into the appropriate field in Make's connection window, ensuring there are no extra spaces. For Microsoft Teams, you'll be prompted to log in with your Microsoft business account credentials and grant Make permission to access your Teams account through a secure authentication window.
Save and verify your connection
After entering all required information, click the 'Save' button to store your connection settings securely. Make will confirm that your connection has been successfully created, and you'll see it listed in your module's connection menu. You're now ready to add more modules and build powerful automations between your connected applications.
