How to setup Perplexity AI and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Access your Perplexity AI settings
Log in to your Perplexity AI account and click on the Settings icon next to your username. From the left sidebar in the settings panel, select the API option to access the area where you can manage connections with external services like Make.
Set up your API access
Create a new API group by filling in the required information and clicking Save. You'll also need to enter your payment details, which will be stored for future use but won't result in any immediate charges—this is simply required to activate API access.
Generate your API key
Navigate to the API Keys tab within the API Portal section and click the '+ Create Key' button to generate a new key. Once created, carefully copy this API key and save it in a secure location, as you'll need it to establish the connection with Make.
Add Perplexity AI to your Make scenario
Log in to your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. Add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow, then click the 'Create a connection' button to start the linking process between the two platforms.
Complete the connection in Make
