How to setup Perplexity AI and Shopify in 5 easy steps
Generate your Perplexity AI API key
Log into your Perplexity AI account and navigate to the API section in your settings. Create a new API group and add your payment details, then go to the API Keys tab and click Create Key to generate your unique API key. Copy this key and store it safely, as you'll need it to connect Perplexity AI with Make.
Connect Perplexity AI to Make
Open your Make account and add a Perplexity AI module to your automation scenario. When prompted, click the Create a connection button and paste the API key you copied from Perplexity AI into the API Key field. You can give your connection a custom name to help identify it later, then click Save to establish the connection between the two platforms.
Add a Shopify module in Make
In your Make account, add a Shopify module to your automation scenario and click Create a connection to begin linking your Shopify store. This will allow Make to communicate with your Shopify store and automate tasks between Shopify and other applications you connect.
Enter your Shopify store information
Select Shopify as your connection type in the Connection type field. Then, in the Domain field, enter only your store's unique identifier from your Shopify URL—for example, if your store URL is xyz.myshopify.com, you would enter only xyz in this field.
Install the Make app on your Shopify store
Click Save to proceed, and a new window will open asking you to install the Make app on your Shopify store. Click Install to approve Make's access to your store data, and your connection will be complete. Your Shopify store is now connected to Make and ready to automate workflows with other applications.
