How to setup Perplexity AI and Webflow in 5 easy steps
Access your API settings in Perplexity AI
Log into your Perplexity AI account and click on the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section in the left sidebar where you'll manage your connection credentials. This is where you'll set up the tools needed to link Perplexity AI with Make's automation platform.
Set up your API access
Create a new API group by filling in the required information and clicking Save. You'll also need to enter your payment details when prompted, which won't charge you immediately but allows the platform to track your API usage. This prepares your account for generating the secure key you'll need.
Generate and save your API key
Go to the API Keys tab and click the Create Key button to generate your unique API key. This key acts like a secure password that allows Make to communicate with your Perplexity AI account. Copy this key immediately and store it in a safe place like a password manager, as it won't be displayed again for security reasons.
Add the app module in Make
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI or Webflow. Add the corresponding app module to your workflow and click the Create a Connection button. Optionally, give your connection a descriptive name to help you identify it later if you have multiple connections.
Complete the connection setup
Paste the API key you copied earlier into the API Key field in Make. Click the Save button to finalize your connection and authenticate if prompted. Once completed, Make will have secure access to your account and you can immediately start using the app in your automation scenarios.
