How to setup Softr and OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) in 5 easy steps
Get your Softr API key
Log into your Softr account and go to your Dashboard. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select 'API key' from the menu. Then click 'Generate API key' to create a special security code that will allow Make to connect with your Softr account. Copy this key and save it in a secure location like a password manager, as you'll need it for the connection setup.
Open your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and navigate to the automation scenario where you want to use Softr. If you're starting fresh, you can create a new scenario. This is where you'll build the automated workflow that connects Softr with other applications to help you save time on repetitive tasks.
Add Softr to your workflow
Inside your Make scenario, look for and select the Softr application from the list of available apps. Once you've added it to your workflow, click on the 'Create a connection' button to start the process of linking your Softr account with Make.
Name your connection
You'll see an optional field where you can give your connection a descriptive name. Choose something that clearly identifies what this connection is for, which will be especially helpful if you plan to create multiple connections between different applications in the future.
Complete the connection
Paste the API key you copied from Softr earlier into the 'API Key' field in Make. After entering the key, click 'Save' to finalize the setup. Your Softr account is now successfully connected to Make and ready to be used in your automation workflows.
