How to setup Webflow and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Get your API key from Perplexity AI
Sign into your Perplexity AI account and click the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section in the left sidebar, then create a new API group by filling in the required information and clicking Save. You'll need to provide payment details (which won't be charged immediately), then go to the API Keys tab and click Create Key to generate your unique access code.
Copy and securely store your API key
Once your API key appears on the screen, copy it immediately and save it in a secure location where you can easily find it later. This key is like a password that allows Make to communicate with your Perplexity AI account, so keep it private and never share it publicly. You'll need this exact key in the next steps to complete the connection.
Add a Perplexity AI module in Make
Log in to your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. Add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow by selecting it from the available apps. Once added, click the Create a connection button to begin linking Make with your Perplexity AI account.
Enter your API key in Make
When prompted, paste the API key you copied from Perplexity AI into the API Key field in Make. Make sure to enter it exactly as it appears, without any extra spaces or characters. You can optionally give your connection a descriptive name to help you identify it later, especially if you plan to manage multiple connections.
Save your connection
Click the Save button to finalize the connection between Make and Perplexity AI. If prompted, confirm that you want to grant Make access to your Perplexity AI account. Once saved, your connection is complete and ready to use, allowing you to build automated workflows that connect Perplexity AI with other applications.
