Holiday Party Management Made Easy

December — the time of Christmas parties, client recognition opportunities, and charitable events.

The holidays are no longer just about trying to squeeze time in with your family, but it’s also about squeezing time in with your clients and celebrating the past year. These celebrations serve as a great opportunity to foster relationships, gain leads, and earn potential dollars for the following year.

But, on top of the fun part, these events are usually accompanied with spreadsheets, graphs, follow-up communications, surveys, and etc. in the front-and back-end.

A great way to start is by automating your work with an event technology platform. It will make the surrounding work a breeze. This way you can concentrate on the fun part — enjoying the holidays.

Eventbrite is the world’s largest event technology platform that allows anyone to schedule events and sell tickets for them. Eventbrite allows you to:

  • Create professional event ticketing and registering pages in minutes

  • Manage and analyze your event from anywhere

  • Build a loyal attendee base

  • Track sales from anywhere

Make has recently released a host of Eventbrite modules to help automate (at least some things) on your holiday to-do list. These include:

Triggers — Watch my events, Watch attendees, Watch orders, Watch events, Watch orders (instant trigger)

Actions — Unpublish an event, Create an event, Publish an event, Create a ticket class

Searches — Find events, List orders, List attendees, List ticket classes

Here are a few ways to get the most of out your Eventbrite account with Make:

Send invites

Send it and forget it! Now you can simply, connect your Eventbrite account to an email campaign service, like MailChimp, and send out your invites instantly.

In this scenario, Make will watch for new events that you create using Eventbrite. It will combine or as we say, aggregate together the event details using the Text aggregator tool. It will then aggregate the list of your subscribers to then send out the invites via email for you automatically.

No more copy and pasting event details and invite lists!

Build a subscriber list

If you are looking to build a contact list of leads for 2018, we have a scenario for that too.

In this scenario, Make will react every time there is a new attendee signed up for your event. It will react by seeing if the new attendee is in your contact list or not.

It will do so by going through your subscriber list (once again in MailChimp) and either updating or creating a new subscriber in your contact list.

Update CRM system

After all is said and done, you may want to grab that whole new list of attendees and upload them to your CRM system, like Pipedrive CRM, so you can get busy straight after the holidays.

Again in the scenario, Make will grab the list of attendees and add them as new objects in your Pipedrive CRM system.

By taking a few moments to set up any one of these scenarios or your own scenario, it will save you a lot of hours. Hours you can spend on enjoying time with your friends and family this holiday season.

Now, if only it could do your holiday shopping for you…. wait maybe it can ;).
