Automate your Intercom tasks with Make

Getting started with using Intercom on Make is easy. All you have to do is follow a few easy steps and you are well on your way to stopping all the CTRL C and CTRL V stuff. 

First, you have to create a connection to your account. It starts when creating your first scenario with Intercom. 

When choosing your first Intercom module, the module settings panel will prompt you to Add a connection. 

By clicking Add, It will pop up a panel for you to name your connection (in most cases it’s ‘My Intercom Connection’, but name it as you wish), then click Continue

After you click Continue, Make will redirect you to the Intercom website where you will be prompted to grant Make access to your account. To allow access click the Connect button. 

Afterward, you will be redirected back to your scenario. And, you can continue creating your scenario. 

Now that you are connected, what can Make help you do?

Intercom scenarios

1. Create Intercom users from new Google Forms entries Do you have new users coming online to sign-up or filling out forms for sales? We can help ease the burden of you inputting it into Intercom. 

Every time someone fills out your Google Form, Make will automatically create a new user in Intercom.

2. Add new Copper leads to Intercom as users 

Do you want to carry your leads over to your sales pipeline? We can help with that too! 

Every time a new lead is created in Copper, Make will automatically create a new user in Intercom.

3. Add new Intercom users to HubSpot as users 

Reversely, if you are wanting to take your Intercom users and transfer them over to your CRM system, we have a scenario built for that too. 

Every time a new user is created in Intercom, Make will automatically create a new contact in HubSpot CRM.
