Join us as we explore the strategic benefits of these recent updates and showcase how businesses are leveraging Make to meet the demands of today’s fast-paced business landscape.

The power of no-code in big business

The no-code automation industry is reshaping how businesses approach digital transformation. While app integration and the development of automation workflows traditionally required deep technical expertise, no-code platforms like Make are democratizing technology by putting powerful integration and automation tools in the hands of non-technical employees.

In addition to empowering non-technical teams, these platforms benefit developers and IT departments by bringing a new speed to their work, quickly automating routine tasks and allowing them to rapidly prototype ideas and innovate at pace.

Overcoming enterprise challenges with Make

As enterprises scale their automation efforts, they face significant challenges — particularly around data security, compliance, and workflow management. Here’s how Make Enterprise addresses these concerns:

  • Security, governance, and compliance: With features like Single Sign-On (SSO) Domain Claim, and Audit Logs, enterprises gain enhanced control over user access, helping to reduce the risk of shadow IT and meet compliance requirements.

  • Workflow management: Make offers extended execution logs and customer scenario properties, enabling businesses to manage automations more effectively as they scale.

  • 24/7 support and overage protection: We provide around-the-clock support and peace of mind with protection against workflow interruptions due to overages.

With Make Enterprise, there are no limits to the depth or complexity of the automations you can build. Our offer’s suite of capabilities ensures you’re set up for success at any scale.

Supercharging lead gen and getting back time

Brevo, a digital marketing platform, has utilized Make to automate over 100 workflows, significantly boosting lead generation. By integrating automation with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Sheets, Brevo streamlined tasks such as lead qualification, nurturing, and data sync. This has not only improved efficiency but also allowed the company to focus more on high-impact, value-driven activities. The automation processes have enhanced collaboration across teams and ensured faster, data-driven decision-making.

One standout example of Brevo’s utilization of Make was in building a scenario to collect leads from LinkedIn and automatically add to a Google Sheet. Every time a new lead was added to the spreadsheet, Make automatically transferred the data to Brevo, triggering an automatic email to deliver an ebook.

So far, so slick – but next came the really clever part.

To maximize the potential of each and every lead, Make automatically transferred lead information to Salesforce for follow-up from a sales rep and added the prospect to a targeted nurture flow within Brevo itself.

“We didn’t have to rely on the paid acquisition team to pass on lead information. Using Make, we could instantaneously and automatically get started on nurturing the leads. “We’ve been able to capitalize on some high quality leads and the results have been very exciting. “It’s so much easier to nurture leads with Make. We don't have to export data or do multiple steps to add data and trigger scenarios. Everything is automated.” says Brevo’s Senior Growth Marketing Analyst, Raja Keerthipati.

Make’s recent enhancements that boost enterprise efficiency

In the past year, we’ve made several important upgrades to Make Enterprise to enhance governance, flexibility, and security for large organizations.

1. Audit Logs for greater governance

Governance is a top priority for enterprises, especially those dealing with sensitive data. In August 2024, we released Audit Logs, a feature that provides comprehensive visibility into user activities on the platform. By capturing a chronological sequence of actions, such as who performed what action and when, Audit Logs offer businesses greater transparency and accountability.

This tool helps detect unauthorized actions, support internal audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The addition of Audit Logs not only mitigates potential security risks but also drives internal accountability by offering insights into platform activity.

2. Enterprise exclusives: New integrations and modules

We’re constantly working to roll out new app integrations and modules to streamline automation for enterprise users.

In June 2024, we released a handful of new modules for our NetSuite integration that allow Make Enterprise users to attach files to a record by ID, update a folder by its Internal ID or External ID, detach a file from a record by its ID and the record ID, download an existing file by its internal ID or external ID, or upload a file by an external URL or binary data.

We also expanded the functionality of our Sage Intacct integration with some useful modules that enable Make Enterprise users to automatically create, get, update, delete and search records with Sage Intacct in their workflows.

3. Dynamic Connections for enhanced flexibility

In January 2024, we introduced Dynamic Connections. Aimed primarily at customers looking to scale a single business process automations across multiple users (e.g. individual email accounts) or accounts, Dynamic Connections gives users greater flexibility by enabling the ability to switch between different account connections dynamically. Whether your business relies on multiple third-party services or complex integrations, this enhancement enables smoother transitions and faster automation updates, minimizes cost related to maintaining automation by reducing scenario duplication, and simplifies automation management and governance.

4. On-Prem Agent for secure access

Our On-Prem Agent now allows enterprises to access applications and databases on a local network without altering firewall settings. Released in January 2024, this feature is particularly valuable for industries with strict data security requirements, such as finance or healthcare, which often operate legacy systems behind protected environments.

Moreover, by supporting HTTP(S) APIs, On-Prem Agent opens up new automation possibilities for organizations that rely on sensitive, on-premise data.

How enterprises are leveraging Make’s custom functions

Many of our enterprise customers are already reaping the benefits of Make’s custom functions, which allow you to add JavaScript code to your automations, bringing greater flexibility to your builds.

We’ve seen these solutions deliver remarkable improvements across multiple industries. By bringing code into your scenario development, you can develop custom functions to fit your needs, thus reducing complexity in automation, overall operation consumption, and even cutting costs by taking more actions in a single module operation.

The future of enterprise automation

As businesses increasingly adopt no-code solutions to automate and scale their processes, Make Enterprise is committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. We continue to enhance our platform with features that support security, scalability, and flexibility for organizations like yours.
