The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly autonomous Automation & AI Specialist to join our Business Processes & Systems team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role and contribute meaningfully from day one, responsible for optimizing internal workflows, implementing and managing key business systems, and leveraging automation and technology to streamline operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of automation and artificial intelligence to apply and expand their knowledge in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment. You will contribute to a variety of impactful initiatives focused on enhancing company efficiency, optimizing company-wide processes, and driving automation within the Business Processes & Systems department and the broader Operations area.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Drive engagements with stakeholders to fully understand the process requirements and gaps for proper design and implementation
- Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using Make as the main automation tool as it integrated with other relevant tools and technologies
- Explore and evaluate potential applications of AI to enhance internal processes and efficiency.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on internal automation within the Business Processes & Systems team and the wider Operations area.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for automation workflows and AI applications.
- Support the implementation of best practices and governance frameworks for automation and AI usage.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving internal company-wide processes through automation and innovative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation and AI.
- Proactively identify and propose new automation and AI opportunities that align with business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with one automation platform (ideally Make) and strong foundational knowledge in automation technologies and concepts.
- Familiarity with AI principles and potential applications in the context of workflows automation.
- An innovation-driven mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies and solutions.
- Understanding of good practices in building scalable and maintainable automation workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and quickly acquire new technical skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
Desirable
- Experience working in a SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with project management (waterfall or agile) methodologies.
