Citrix ShareFile

With Citrix ShareFile modules in Make, you can create, update, and deliver folders and upload a file in your Citrix File Share account.

To use the Citrix ShareFile modules, you must have a Citrix ShareFile account. You can create an account at

Establish the connection with Citrix ShareFile in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

  1. Log in to your Make account, add a Citrix ShareFile module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.

  2. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  3. Optional: Click Show advanced settings and enter your custom app client credentials. For more information, refer to the Citrix ShareFile API documentation. Use the following Redirect URI when creating your custom app:

  4. Click Save.

  5. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Citrix ShareFile modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

Create a custom application in Citrix ShareFile

To create a Citrix ShareFile custom application and retrieve your client credentials:

  1. Log in to .

  2. Click Get an API Key.

  3. In the Application Name field, enter the application to which you want to connection. For example, Make.

  4. In the Redirect URI field, enter

  5. Click Generate API Key.

  6. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret values and store them in a safe place.

After connecting the app, you can perform the following actions:

  • Create a Folder

  • Create a Share

  • Send an Email

  • Upload a File
