Chatbase

With Chatbase modules in Make, you can send messages and make API calls.

To get started with Chatbase, create an account at chatbase.co. You must have a paid Chatbase plan to use Chatbase with Make.

Refer to the Chatbase API documentation for the list of available endpoints.

Connect Chatbase to Make

To connect Chatbase to Make, you must first obtain an API key from your Chatbase account.

  1. Log in to your Chatbase account.

  2. In the top right corner of the page, click Account.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of your Account page to the API Keys section.

  4. To use an existing API key, go to Step 5. To create a new API key, click Create New Secret Key.

  5. Click the eye icon to reveal your API key and copy the value.

  6. Log in to your Make account, add a Chatbase module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.

  7. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  8. In the API Key field, enter your API key copied in Step 5.

  9. Click Save.

  10. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Chatbase modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

After connecting the app, you can perform the following actions:
