Invoice Ninja

With Invoice Ninja modules in Make, you can manage the clients, products, invoices, recurring invoices, payments, quotes, tasks, expenses in your Invoice Ninja account.

To use the Invoice Ninja modules, you must have an account. You can create an account at app.invoicing.co/#/register.

Refer to the Invoice Ninja API documentation for a list of available endpoints.

Connect Invoice Ninja to Make

To establish the connection, you must:

  1. Obtain your API token in Invoice Ninja.

  2. Establish the connection in Make

Obtain your API token in Invoice Ninja

To obtain your API key from your Invoice Ninja account:

  1. Log in to your Invoice Ninja account.

  2. In the left pane, go to Settings.

  3. Go to Account Management > Integrations > API Tokens.

  4. Click New Token.

  5. In the Name field, enter the name for the API token.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Copy the API token value shown and store it in a safe place.

You will use this value in the API Token field in Make.

Establish the connection with Invoice Ninja in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

  1. Log in to your Make account, add a Invoice Ninja module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.

    Note: If you add a module with an instant tag, click Create a webhook, then Create a connection.

  2. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  3. In the Domain field, do one of the following:

    • If your Portal Mode is set to Subdomain, enter your URL in the format https://yoursubdomain.invoiceing.com

    • If your Portal Mode is set to Domain, enter your URL in the format https://example.yourcustomdomain.com

  4. In the API Token field, enter the API token copied in the section above.

  5. Click Save.

  6. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Invoice Ninja modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

Note

This app uses webhooks to trigger a scenario when an event occurs instantly. All webhook modules have an instant tag next to their name.

When you create an Invoice Ninja webhook in Make, it is attached automatically and requires no additional set up.
